Dr. Larry E. Grisvard Performance Scholarship, Department of Theatre and Dance

The Dr. Larry E. Grisvard Performance Scholarship may be awarded, based on a decision of the Theatre and Dance Faculty, as a one-time award to an incoming freshman who meets the following criteria. The Scholarship recipient must: Have a cumulative high school grade point average of 3.0 or above. Submit a scholarship application (available through the Department of Theatre and Dance). Submit 2 letters of recommendation (secondary teacher/advisor and non-family community member). Pursue a BFA in Performing Arts with a Theatre Performance Option or Dance Option as their primary course of study. Enroll and successfully complete as least 12 hours of course credit each semester. Actively participate in Theatre and Dance productions by auditioning and/or accepting technical crew assignments. Recipients are evaluated at the end of the fall semester to determine eligibility for the spring semester. Criteria for evaluation include academic and artistic progress, such as personal characteristics as cooperation, motivation and adaptability.
