Betty Berry Glenn-Science+

First preference for awarding the scholarship is to direct descendants of John and Betty Glenn attending Southeast Missouri State University. If only one descendant is attending, all scholarships are awarded to descendant regardless of major or residence. If more than one attends, scholarship is to be divided equally. This scholarship shall be awarded to a student majoring in any field of science and graduating from a high school in the following counties: Stoddard, Wayne, Bollinger, Carter, Butler, Ripley, Dunklin, Pemiscot, New Madrid, Mississippi, Scott, Cape Girardeau, Perry, Madison, Ste. Genevieve and St. Francois. Recipients of this scholarship must be traditional students.

Only one scholarship is awarded to a non-descendant each year. Scholarship is awarded to a student majoring in any field of science and graduating from a high school in the following counties: Stoddard, Wayne, Bollinger, Carter, Butler, Ripley, Dunklin, Pemiscot, New Madrid, Mississippi, Scott, Cape Girardeau, Perry, Madison, Ste.
