Constance Rowe French Scholarship

The recipient of this scholarship must have 45 credit hours and be enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester hours at the time of application. He or she must have declared French as their major, or be an education major with a French minor. He or she must have also declared an intent to graduate from Southeast Missouri State University. This scholarship is awarded for full-semester study in a French-speaking country for the summer after sophomore year, either semester of the junior year, or for the summer after junior year. Demonstration of need shall be a factor but not the primary factor. Students not currently awarded other scholarships, and students from countries, states or provinces where French is not the predominant language will receive preference. Applicants must complete an application and essay through the Department of Communication Studies and Modern Languages.
