Michael Davis Journalism Scholarship

The scholarship recipient will be a mass media major attending Southeast Missouri State University who exhibits academic promise, journalistic talent, and a commitment to working in the mass media industry after graduation. To qualify, the student must be a minority, have completed at least 60 hours, and have a departmental grade point average of at least 2.75. Preference is given to African American students who plan to pursue careers in print journalism, but any mass media major from an ethnically diverse background is eligible for the scholarship.
