Veda Harnes

The Harnes Trust Fund was established in April, 1967 by the late Dr. Alvin R. Harnes in memory of his wife, Veda Ellis Harnes. Dr. and Mrs. Harnes were both natives of Cape Girardeau. Dr. Harnes received his degree from Southeast Missouri State University and later served as a faculty member. The Harnes family moved to New York City in 1927 where Dr. Harnes practiced for many years.
