Trixie and Denver Clubb

Denver E. Clubb, born in Zalma, Missouri, and Trixie M. Clubb, born in Doe Run, Missouri, met while attending Southeast Missouri Teachers. Denver was a 1931 graduate and Trixie was a 1941 graduate, and both received a B.S. in Education. Trixie taught elementary education at Doe Run and later in Arlington, Virginia, while Denver worked for the Federal Agriculture Department in Washington, D.C. They never had any children of their own but considered all of the children in her classes to be theirs. They were both very dedicated and supportive to Southeast Missouri State University and the communities in which they lived.
