Michael Halwachs

The Michael A. Halwachs Memorial Endowed Scholarship is dedicated to the memory of Michael Alan Halwachs, a Southeast Missouri State University alumnus, who died of cancer at the age of 31. Mike was born in Belleville, Ill. He was an electrical engineer with Bell Laboratories and later with McDonnell Douglas. He graduated with honors from the University in 1983 with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, and from the University of Missouri-Rolla with a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
