Luther Hahs

This scholarship was established by M. Luther Hahs, a 1942 alumnus who, upon suffering a stroke in 1972, was paralyzed on the right side of his body and robbed of his ability to talk, read, write and reason. A grateful and determined man, Mr. Hahs showed high appreciation to Southeast Missouri State University for helping him regain his speech by helping others.
