Lenell and Justin Hahn

Lenell Hahn started her college career at Three Rivers Community College where she graduated with an associate of arts degree. She transferred to Southeast and graduated in August 2001 with a bachelor of science in business administration with an emphasis in marketing. In May 2004, she completed her master’s in business administration (MBA) from Southeast Missouri State. She started at Southeast as an admission counselor in the Office of Admissions in 2003. Lenell has served as the admissions web counselor, assistant director for communications, associate director for operations and communications, and associate director for recruitment. Since January 2013, she has been the director of admissions.

Justin Hahn, her husband, received his bachelor of science degree in industrial technology in May 2004. He has been employed as a steel laborer with Eftink Construction in Sikeston, Missouri since 1997.

The Hahn’s value education and understand the hardships of working their way through college. Lenell was raised by her single mom, Diane O’Connell, who worked several jobs, made huge sacrifices and was a 1st generation and non-traditional college student. She set a good example for her daughter, Lenell, to work hard and never give up on your dreams.
