John Glenn

John Glenn, a 1952 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University, 1986 Alumni Merit Award recipient and 1995 Friend of the University, along with his wife, Betty, established this scholarship to honor her parents. He believes that “when persons can think and speak effectively on their feet, they are much more adept in convincing those who control the purse strings to invest in their areas.”
