James Bruening

Dr. James Bruening taught mathematics at Southeast Missouri State University for 23 years. For nearly 20 of those years, he organized the Math Field Day held on campus.

Married to Fay for 34 years, their marriage was blessed with 2 children, Aaron and Sarah. James also enjoyed being a grandfather. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau and actively participated in their music program.
