Founded in 1967 by Bob Kierlin and four friends, Fastenal is a world-wide leader in the distribution of industrial, safety and construction supplies. What began with an initial investment of $30,000 and a 1,000 sq. ft. store in Winona, Minnesota, Fastenal has grown to over 2,600 locations in all 50 U.S. States, Canada and Mexico, with additional locations in Central and South America, Europe and Asia. Today the company employs over 16,000 individuals and had 2013 annual revenue exceeding $3 billion.
