Dr. Harold and Jeanine Hager

Dr. Hager received his Bachelor’s degree from Southeast Missouri State University in 1954, his Master’s degree from the University of Missouri in 1955, and his Doctorate from the University of Missouri at Rolla in 1970. He joined the Southeast faculty in 1957 and became the Chair of the Department of Mathematics in 1976. He served in that capacity until his retirement in 1995. He was very active in professional organizations and served on the Board of Governors of the Mathematical Association of America.

Mrs. Hager was active in the Faculty Dames for many years and served as its president on two occasions. She taught at Trinity Lutheran School in Cape Girardeau. Both of the Hagers have been long-time supporters of Southeast athletics teams.
