Dr. George G. and Helen V. Suggs

Dr. George E. Suggs, Jr. (Emeritus Professor of History) taught history at Southeast Missouri State University for 31 years. Mrs. Helen V. Suggs (MA-Southeast) taught in the public schools of various states for 33 years. Long-time residents of Cape Girardeau, the Suggs have four children: Owen (Lisa), Suzanne Mortimer (Allen), Beth McKay (Jerry), and Lorrie Edwards (Dean).
