Delmar A. Cobble

Delmar A. Cobble, a longtime educator and former deputy commissioner for the Missouri Department of Education, established the “Delmar and Allene Cobble Memorial Scholarship” to be awarded to students pursuing a degree in education. Mr. Cobble was a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. He was named “Friend of the University” by the Southeast Missouri Foundation in 1992. Among his many other honors and awards, Delmar Cobble received the Alumni Merit Award from Southeast Missouri State University in 1972.
