Dan & Marilyn Glore

Dan Glore graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with three degrees. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Education (high school education) with a major in social studies in 1970, a Master of Arts in Education in 1975 and a Specialist’s degree in Education in 1988. He is a retired Fox High School principal.

Marilyn (Hill) Glore received two degrees from Southeast. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Education (high school education) with majors in mathematics and English in 1968 and a Master of Arts in Education (counseling) in 1972. She retired as the head of the Guidance Department for Fox Senior High School in 2007.

Both Dan and Marilyn have been educators in the Fox C-6 School District in Arnold, Missouri and other school districts for many years. They live in Barnhart, Missouri, and are members of the Southeast Copper Dome Society. The Glores’ charitable foundation has funded numerous cultural activities in the St. Louis area. The Glores have also provided numerous scholarships for local students.

Dan and Marilyn are recipients of the 2013 Southeast Salutes award from the Alumni Association which honors outstanding alumni from the St. Louis area who have brought distinction to themselves and to the University through career and community achievements.
